A festival icon, for the past 6 years the Fisher & Paykel Chefs Kitchen at Taste of Auckland has hosted the best up and coming chefs right through to Michelin Starred international visitors. This is where you will see your favourite chefs in action as they take to the big stage.
2014's MC was the wonderfully witty Delaney Mes. Delaney is a self-confessed food addict, and has cleverly turned her love for food into a career, writing for her own food blog Heartbreak Pie, plus Metro Magazine, Herald on Sunday, and a regular cooking slot on the Good Morning show.
As well as entertaining us all at the Fisher & Paykel Chef's Kitchen, Delaney is incredibly talented in the kitchen herself and gave us her best tips and tricks on cooking at her own presentation.
Presenters in the Fisher & Paykel Chef's Kitchen included our international guests, Michelin Starred Pascal Aussignac from Club Gascon(UK) and Darren Robertson (AUS) from Three Blue Ducks. As well as many of our Taste restaurant chefs, Nadia Lim from My Food Bag, Tom Hishon from Orphans Kitchen, Masu’s Nic Watt, Sachie Nomura from Sachies Kitchen and Stephen Smith from Kumeu's Tasting Shed. all shared their kitchen tips.
